December 23, 2009 11:28 pm | #1I’m just catching up on watching the videos after my vacation and missed the matching donation opportunity (although that won’t stop me from donating). Just want to say thanks to you for your generosity in doing this. I’m sure Will & Brooke can use the help with the high repair bill.

December 24, 2009 12:44 am | #4Industrial hemp, which doesn’t even have the THC to get you high, is illegal to grow in the US, It would put a serious dent into the petrochemical industry profit, but would do much for the earth ecosystem. legislated pollution for profit plus gov. subsidized monopoly. That is one absurd and harmful outcome of the so called war on drugs.
December 24, 2009 1:32 am | #5Also, hemp can cross-pollinate with cannabis. When it does, the next generation has half the THC. Therefore, the Feds could surround cannabis operations with hemp fields. Within a few years, every cannabis crop would be worthless.

December 24, 2009 4:15 am | #9it saddens me when i think about cannabis prohibition. hemp could EASILY lessen the weight of many burdens we face if only the big industries would let it.i lived in lubbock, tx for a spell and they produce a LOT of cotton. i just imagine all the water and land and wildlife and time they could save by growing even 50% hemp. and you can eat it! make soap from it, make clothes, paper, livestock feed/bedding, better concrete, plastics. also, marijuana is more fun than beer- er, i mean safer…
